How long have you been working at McKay and what does your job entail?
I have been working at McKay Landscape Lighting since August of 2021.
As the marketing coordinator, I manage all our social media accounts. I
am also responsible for designing and executing any marketing materials
that we send out to clients.
General background and education:
I was born and raised in Lincoln, NE. I attended the University of
Nebraska-Lincoln for college where I studied Advertising and Public Relations.
Over my college career, I had various internships at marketing agencies
and other companies where I focused mostly on social media.
Why do you enjoy working at McKay Lighting?
There is definitely a family aspect working at a small business. Everyone
is so approachable, kind, and welcoming and it has been so fun getting to
know my co-workers.
What do you like to do in your free time?
In my free time, I enjoy reading books (particularly from Reese Witherspoon's
Book Club), watching ridiculous reality TV, and playing with my dog, Jax!
