Decks and pergolas are natural gathering places for relaxing, dining, and entertaining outdoors. Thoughtfully designed lighting helps make these spaces more comfortable, inviting, and usable long after the sun goes down.

Effective deck and pergola lighting does more than provide visibility. Subtle illumination can highlight architectural details, define seating areas, accent overhead structures, and create a warm atmosphere that enhances the overall outdoor living experience. The goal is to create enough light for comfort and safety while preserving the ambiance of the space.

At McKay Landscape Lighting, we often incorporate deck and pergola lighting into a larger outdoor lighting design that may include landscape, architectural, pathway, and tree lighting. The result is a seamless outdoor environment that feels welcoming, balanced, and ready to enjoy throughout the evening.
