There are multiple ways to light a pergola. You can light from the ground up, or light down from above as pictured. The best application for this pergola was to light from above. The light provides extra illumination for safely walking around the pool, and the reflection of the pool adds an element of interest. We installed the lights on the exterior of the pergola. It elegantly illuminates the structure while keeping the interior a little darker and more private.
We used two different lighting applications on the stairs in the backyard. The height of the path lights provides enough visibility to help you safely to the top of the stairs, while the cascade light on the wall safely guides you down the rest of the steps and onto the lower level.
Garage areas on homes can be challenging to light. In-ground well lights installed in the concrete are a great option. This technique beautifully illuminates and enhances the home, while increasing security of the garage space. The garage will look great at night and the lights are barely noticeable during the day.
This smaller bollard light works very well at larger front entrances, paths, and driveways.
