Jerry McKay of McKay Landscape Lighting gave the homeowners a fresh new design that enhances the home’s beauty and increases curb appeal. The lighting design included replacing the incandescent fixtures to more energy efficient LED fixtures.
"The property has beautiful mature trees and unique features including a large pergola, reflecting pond, pool, wishing well, and large circle drive. Our goal was to enhance the property and its features. We suggested areas to strategically place trees that helped us get light to dark areas on the property," says McKay.

Driveway Lighting
To light the driveway, McKay’s team installed lights in the canopy and at the base of select mature trees nearby. The downlighting evenly illuminates the pavement, providing interesting shadow effects. The trees and uplighting act as markers to help you navigate the drive. Outdoor Patio Lighting
As one of our specialties, the use of downlighting here created a soft ambiance on the patio area near the pool. This ended up being one of the homeowner’s favorite aspects of their lighting design.
Lighting Unique Water Features
The reflecting pond is a quiet, beautiful space on the property. We used a new, mini uplight to gently light the planting containers along the pond.
